I was an ultra-marathoner,
an Ironman Triathlon finisher and mountain biking enthusiast until it came to a screeching halt in 2018. I started to experience debilitating joint pain in my hips, elbow, and wrists. I blamed myself for damage to my body from training “too much.” Multiple surgeries later to repair and replace joints my exercise had diminished and my weight was at an all time high. I was desperate to feel like myself again. Doctors offered no solutions. Then I came upon a podcast featuring Dr. Mindy Pelz and what I heard changed my life. Fast forward to today I feel great and moving again! I wish I had more guidance during my own journey, so now I help women curate a toolbox of skills and journey along side them.
